(gift) Tasted January 1985 Ah, what nectar. This was a wonderful bottle of wine. It had a deep, rich, yellow color. Complex and floral, fruity aroma. The taste? Major yum. This wine was fat, thick, rich, medium sweet, and fruity (lots of glycerin?). There were low amounts of tannin and acid. There was great depth to this wine and I enjoyed its rich flavors. I could have continued drinking this wine by itself for hours. My one complaint: bottles aren't big enough '-) I have to wonder what the price was dots I sure would like to get more and put it away for a while. Very High Recommendation: Seek and Buy (If someone finds out the cost of this bottle, please mail me the info, Bloomington Indiana may be close to the center of the universe :-] but a store that carries a large selection of quality California wines that have been treated and stored well is lacking.......)
