1200-baud phone users, please note the following.  (If you don't know
what that means, ignore this whole news article.)  One of our fast
modems has failed, and 2580 is temporarily back to being 300-baud only.
So at the moment we have only one 1200-baud dialup line, 2581.  Please
be sparing in its use, and let other people have a chance at it.  The
defective modem will be repaired as quickly as possible, but this may
take a week or two.
