An effort is underway to organize a Canadian chapter of /usr/group,
the highly visible, California-based association of UNIX users and vendors.

The intentions of the Canadian chapter are:

1)	to encourage the co-operation and mutual assistance among
	users and suppliers and potential users and suppliers of
	the UNIX System or UNIX compatible systems;

2)	to encourage the development and dissemination of and provide
	a forum for the exchange of techniques, apllications, software,
	documentation, procedures and related information for the UNIX
	System and UNIX compatible systems;

The first meeting is currently planned for late April. For more
