Message-ID: <861@uw-beaver> Date: Sat, 16-Feb-85 17:21:01 EST Article-I.D.: uw-beave.861 Posted: Sat Feb 16 17:21:01 1985 Date-Received: Tue, 19-Feb-85 05:46:31 EST Sender: daemon@uw-beaver Organization: U of Washington Computer Science Lines: 14 From: cornell!vax135!houxm!houxf!stewart@uw-beaver.arpa Lucida is a font designed for medium resolution printers like the Imagens. I was talking with Imagen today, and they sell it, but only in a floppy-disk version that runs on their newer models - they can't get a licensing arrangement for a host-based font, because this would be too easy to copy, and the designers of Lucida want to protect their work. Therefore, we can't use it, because we have the older PROM-based Imagens, and don't want to spend the money to replace the processor. IS there any way to get Lucida for a VAX running System V, Release [12], using ditroff?
