Message-ID: <502@cyb-eng.UUCP> Date: Sat, 16-Feb-85 17:14:40 EST Article-I.D.: cyb-eng.502 Posted: Sat Feb 16 17:14:40 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 21-Feb-85 03:44:17 EST Organization: Cyb Systems, Austin, TX Lines: 14 [ I should get a job in Hawaii ] A friend of mine recalls hearing about a total solar eclipse in the summer of 1986 which would last a fairly long time (many minutes) and only be total in Hawaii. Can someone tell me if this is right and if so, some other information about it (exactly what day, time, where it can be seen totally, partially). It seems like this was said to be the last such spectacular eclipse in the US in this century (?). This would seem as good an excuse as any for a Hawaiian vacation! Thanks for any info. -King ARPA: ables%cyb-eng.UUCP@ut-sally.ARPA UUCP: ...{ctvax,gatech,ihnp4,nbires,seismo,ucb-vax}!ut-sally!cyb-eng!ables
