In a similar vein, can anybody out there tell me the exact (well, let's say "pretty much exact") specs on digital encoding? I.e., standard sampling rate, precision, what kind of error detection/(correction?), etc. Please use personal mail; there are already more new articles in this group than I have time to read every day, and there's no need to give everybody else my headaches.
