When I picked up 3 Volvos at the factory, the US sticker price was much less
than the Swedish sticker price.  Their price includes VAT and other taxes
which we don't pay on ones for export.  You would have to go through an
export agency to save the taxes.  We always save over $1000 even including
cost of home shipment, insurance, registration, and customs fees when we
buy the standard US spec car in Sweden.  We just use the Volvo of America
