I assume there is an interest in high speed driving from the fact that I see a lot of top speed claims for writer's cars. Between speed traps and the lack of nice straight roads, I rarely get over 120 mph in the NJ & NY (Westchester) area. 135 is about the best I've ever done, though I was still accellerating when I had to stand on the brakes.
