     How about some suggestions on special-discipline dictionaries?

     Two that I can recommend are

          *Dictionary of Philosophy* editted by Dagobert D Runes (a revised
               edition has recently been released)

      and *The Penguin Dictionary of Economics* by Bannock et alii (an
               American revised edition has recently been released).

I have some other specialty dictionaries, but either haven't put them to
use (yet) or lack the background to judge them.
