Using 4.2 uucp, Hayes 1200, DMF-32 modem port; not trying to do in/out on same
line.  uucico -r1 always fails when re-opening the Hayes.

By adding debugging lines, I have narrowed the problem down.  On re-opening,
the commands are written without any problem, but the expect loop waiting for
CONNECT gets an I/O error on the read.  Anyone else have this problem?
