I have a PDP11-23+ processor and recently I purchased a PDP11-73 processor from DEC to upgrade. I was told that the new processor was upward compatable and that almost all programs run on it without modification. Well, I'm having some trouble running V7m so I decided to try and reconfigure the OS to for the PDP11-70 with split I & D and no overlays, but I can't do it. The seperate I & D space libraries are missing (I have only object code). Does anyone know how to get around this? DEC is no help. They no longer support V7. All I get out of them is buy ULTRIX11 for more money, sigh! Also, I new to the PDP11 world. How hard is it to upgrade to BSD 2.9? How much does it cost? Tim Tucker ..ucbvax!ihnp4!uiucdcs!ccvaxa!tucker
