Does it really have 1500' range like they say? After all, that's over a quarter mile. Does the paging/intercom feature work well? Any problems using it with an answering machine? Will the handset shatter beyond repair the first time I drop it? Is $100 a good price? Experiences with any AT&T cordless phones would be appreciated as well, and [as usual] if there's sufficient response I'll summarize to net.consumers. Thanks in advance, -Ed Horch {ihnp4,akgua,houxm}!hou4b!ebh P.S. If $100 is really a bargain, and you live in the NY/NJ area, that's what they're going for at Bamberger's one-day sale this Wed. 2/27.
