They are by no means Craftsman quality, but they are functional. They use castings and bushings wherever possible rather than machined parts and bearings. Their parts tend to rust and must be kept clean and oiled. I have ripped many 2x6's into 2x3's on the bench saw and learned to cope with the way the blade assembly would twist under the load. The 1 HP light duty motor survived all this heavy duty work. I tried to take my time to prevent damage to the motor.
