Some questions about the availability of "emacs":

Where can I get a copy to run under V7 unix.  I have a "Perkin-Elmer"
computer, so I need a portable version.  We have "termcap" and "curses".

What language is it written in?

How much does it cost?

How much better is it than the "vi" editor or the "rand" editor?
