I am posting this for a friend not on the net so please either contact him

Prof. Vistefano at the University of Scranton would like some help porting the
1983 version of VLSI.  This software runs under 4.1 BSD.  He would like to use
it under EUNICE, but the people involved in the port have limited knowledge of
UNIX.  In particular, they are having problems with 'ceasar', 'cis', and 
'slang'.  Any comments or assistance would be most appreciated.
