R+D, Santa Monica Lines: 11 Summary: The hsitory of discrimination against Asians goes back rather farther than the WW2 days. California's first Constitution, for instance, was rejected by the US Supreme Court becase it forbade any Chinese to be citizens. Of course, there was no hsitory of enslaved Asians. Or of enslaved Jews. Which obviously means that Anti-semitism was not a particularly nasty type of prejudice, since it merely (?) resulted in pogroms rather than slavery.
