         I agree.  We lefties have been suffering too long.  Have you ever
tried to use a drinking fountain while your right hand was full of books?  
Have you ever tried to use a shotgun which ejects shells into your face?
They even make fancy little butter knives so lefties can't use them.  I'm 
told that my parents tried to 'make' me right handed by handing me toys from
my right side, out of reach of my left hand.  A left-handed friend who 
attended a parochial school says that the nuns used to hit his left hand
with a ruler whenever he tried to write with it.
    I wonder if the net might contain more than it's share of lefties, since
the kind of professions which led to us being here usually require quite a
bit of creativity and intelligence.  I'd like to suggest doing a survey here,
but I'm afraid that the results would be skewed because mostly only lefties
would respond.  Maybe not.  Please decide whether or not to respond to this
very short survey (single question) independant of your handedness.  Here 
goes:
        1. Are you left or right handed?  (answers of 'yes' will be ignored.)

     I'll compile the results and report back later.  If anyone knows
what the average ratio of lefties to righties is, I'd appreciate that
information.  Thanx.
