One should note that the Soviet Union also claims that 100% of the
population is right-hand (nope, no weirdo lefties here). This seems
to be because the Soviet educational system, which is *highly*
intolerant of any type of non-conformism (even genetic) forces all
students to be right-handed and refuses to acknowledge that anyone
might be otherwise.
