Message-ID: <122@tardis.UUCP> Date: Sat, 16-Feb-85 11:02:13 EST Article-I.D.: tardis.122 Posted: Sat Feb 16 11:02:13 1985 Date-Received: Wed, 20-Feb-85 20:08:25 EST Organization: Harvard University, Cruft Lab (TARDIS) Lines: 15 A peculiar thing that happened to the top scorers on one of the local machines (not me, and not this poor PDP-11): The "top scorer" is really two guys who switch off. At one point, the two managed to simultaneously restart two instances of a game that one of them had previously saved. Both encountered the same levels, with the same objects on them. At one point, they got scrolls of identify, which they got extra use of by identifying different corresponding objects. Saved games here seem to be pretty flaky regardless (often the game fails to restart and you simply lose) --- anyone have any similar experiences? rst@tardis P.S. This was a test of our inews, and you didn't even know it!
