*** MESS UP THIS PLACE WITH YOUR LINE ***

  I just finished the game by taking the Amulet of Yendor out of the
dungeon, but it didn't say "You've won!" or anything out of the ordinary,
so I'm wondering if I have actually "won" the game.  Are you supposed to
apply the amulet or use it in some way, or am I being paranoid and I really
did win?
  Also, I actually finally found a whistle which, when I whistled it, produced
a "Strange" whistling sound (as opposed to a "High" whistling sound).  This is
a much better whistle because it (****SPOILER****) instead of calling your dog
to you, teleports him next to you!
