There IS more than one way to avoid body rot:
	[1] don't fight fungi, see one move back and throw weapons at it
	[2] use a wand of cancellation on the beastie
	[3] wear a ring of sustain health (not cursed)
	[4] use a Keoghtym's ointment or some such
	[5] save up to 50 healing potions
	[6] quaff potion of cure disease (mesg: "Nothing seems to happen"
					  when no disease)
	[7] be a high-level cleric and cure yourself
