  Thanks everyone for the helpful hints.  I have used a scare
monster scroll when two leppies and a centaur were chasing me
through a maze on one side and a troll was on the other side.
Well I dropped the scroll and beat them all up, collecting the
gold the leppies dropped.

   Has anyone noticed why sometimes when you eat food it says
"yuk, this tastes awful!" and other times it says "yum, this
tastes great."  I have a suspicion has to do with whether you've
found food on your own, but I may be wrong.  Anyway this is
trivia, for sure, since it doesn't seem to affect anything.

  Has anyone found a way to find out what a ring does besides
reading a scroll?  Many times I have a lot of rings but no
scroll to identify them.  I put them on, take them off and
fail to see any changes.  Hmmmm....
