HELP!!!!!!!!

I was playing the aforementioned version of rogue and was down to level 30+,
came back up to 25, then was going back and forth when I was ultimately
disposed of by a gang of nasties. My question is:

	WHERE DO YOU FIND THE AMULET ( or comparable ) IN 5.6???????

I have played other versions and know that in them the treasure is somewhere
on levels 22-26(?). Also, you could not go up till you found the amulet. On
this version I went up and down at will but nary once did I spot the amulet.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
