According to my references (I'm only doing a superficial scan) "My Ding-a-Ling" was the only Chuck Berry song to hit #1 on Billboard's charts. His first hit, "Maybelline", peaked at #5; "School Day", at #3; "Rock & Roll Music", at #8; "Sweet Little Sixteen", at #2; and "Johnny B. Goode", at #8.
