Has anyone had experiences (good or bad) in recording off the
Kenwood R2000 (or other hf receivers) using the built in timer ?

It would be nice to set the timer and record any traffic for a
specified amount of time while you are away.

The R2000 has a provision to do this, but I am not sure how
(or I should say if) it works with a regular cassette recorder.

Thanks for all the mail about my request on ACSB, it helped
clarify my understanding of it.
