Not funny means "lacking sufficient ingenuity to cause laughter", which I think this covers all but two of the Ethiopian jokes I've seen so far. Believe me, I'll laugh at almost anything, but the general run of these is that the jokes are stupid, aside from being more than a little offensive to lots of people. Chris Shaw
