A professor of math, a professor of engineering and a professor of accounting
were asked by the president of the university to solve this simple problem.
The man who got the right answer would be the new vice-president.  The
problem was 
  
     2 + 2 = ?

Now, the math prof stood up first and went to the chalkbaord and in a long
proof how two plus two was four.

The engineering prof stood up and whiped out his slide rule (old profs still
use them) and came up with the same solution.

The accounting prof looked at the problem and then looked at the president
and asked, "Sir, what would you like it to equal?"

Guess who go the job.
