Please do not construe the flap about the "Montaaaana" posting as a warning not to post to net.jokes. You see, we went through a cycle of this about 6 months ago. It isn't that the joke is bad, or that it's too offensive, it's just that there ARE NO VARIATIONS! Someone posted something like; "Where men are men, and sheep are carefull." Suddenly, net.jokes was flooded with "Corrections:" >>>> No, No! It's "Where men are men, women are scarce and sheep run scared" >>> "Men are men and sheep are very, very nervous" >> "... and sheep are skittish" > "... are scared" You see? They all say the same thing, but everybody in the world had to post the version they heard. I never kept track of the numbers, but there had to be postings in the HUNDREDS... with near-zero variation. So don't be afraid to post anything... and, if something like the flap over thisjoke happens, don't take it personally. ARHHH! NO! NO! I CAN'T RESIST! "... the sheep run scared, and the lambs don't go "Baaaa", they go "Daaaaad..." Ron Wanttaja Hypocrite-at-large (not to mention a large hypocrite) (ssc-vax!wanttaja)
