Nor did I have access to his articles. So my reading pirated Dave Barry columns did not subtract from the profits of the Miami Herald (or whoever employs him), and if I go to th'USA, I shall doubtless buy the Miami herald in preference to any other. And if a book by Dave Barry were to appear in a shop over here, I would certainly buy it. Perhaps the distribution of such pirated articles should be restricted to the u.k?
