The referenced article gave a rather lengthy procedure to rotated and
to derotate jokes.  I think this is a tad simpler:


cat $*| tr n-za-mN-ZA-M a-zA-Z >rotated_joke

where $* is your joke (to be rotated) and rotated* is the joke you want
to post.  Just :r in that file when you postnews.

To derotate pipe the joke through:

cat $* | tr a-zA-Z n-za-mN-ZA-M > rotated
