Rather than fix their software so that it didn't say "user@Berkeley.ARPA", they hacked the host table. In a way, I'm glad they did. At least it stopped the flood of hysterical and abusive mail I got claimed that the TOPS-20 mailsystem was broken because it didn't recognize "Berkeley.ARPA" as a host. -------
