One of the Shugart 851 8" drives in a cabinet started making a squeeking noise shortly after being turned on. I took it out, didn't find any loose pieces, turned it back on again, and the noise got louder. Then I shut it down and took it off-line. I presume the spindle bearings are dry. But what about lubricants? Is there something specific I should put in there or will my can of spray lubricant (something called "tefrawn") do? Mark Becker Cent.Mbeck%Mit-Oz@Mit-Mc
