Is there anyone out there in the RBOCs or BOCs (formerly
Bell Telephone Companies)??  We have seen AT&T and Bell
Labs (of course) as net contributors, but can't remember
seeing anyone but Pacific Bell representing the
operating companies.

If you're there, what are you doing for a living these
days?

We are engaged in Unix/C applications development and
deployment (mostly on supermicros) for our own vertical 
markets in the operating end of the telephone business.

We think we're getting pretty good at it and would like
to correspond with others doing similar work.
