I don't see any possible way that could be fixed. The real problem is related to the LCD technology used which won't be changed by mechanical or electrical "fixes." 2) The plastic case is not sturdy. Even the new display unit I saw was already cracked in several places. It also lacks a handle, by the way. 3) It is grossly overpriced. I was quoted about $2800 for a unit with one micro-floppy and 128K. By the time you get up to something capable of running Unix or the more complex MSDOS programs, you're up to almost six grand. --Lauren--
