Message-ID: <8538@brl-tgr.ARPA> Date: Sat, 23-Feb-85 13:30:30 EST Article-I.D.: brl-tgr.8538 Posted: Sat Feb 23 13:30:30 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 28-Feb-85 04:58:22 EST Sender: news@brl-tgr.ARPA Lines: 14 I recently handled the purchase of 30 ThinkJets for my Division's use with HP 2392a CRTs. The printer is really compact, prints clearly, but the micro-holes in the inkjet cartridge have a tendency to dry up now and then, producing poor print quality. A wipe with a damp cloth fixes this. (We had two exceptions -- we had to replace the ink cartridge for $8 each.) You can turn on boldface with a control sequence to greatly improve the quality of print. Normal mode is also very clear. You'll need to stock special ThinkJet paper. Also, buy one of those acrylic printer stands from HP to stock a ream of paper under the printer. All of us are quite pleased with the printers.
