The kit was made by: Micro Conversions 3606 Knoll Crest Dr. Arlington, TX 76014 (817) 465-5758 It contains: Torx screwdriver Small wire cutters IC insertion tool Very pointy tweezers X-Acto knife 3 rolls of desoldering braid A very good set of instructions 74F253 multiplexer 17 256k RAMs (1 spare ) 17 Low profile sockets 1 minature PC board for "Old Style" motherboards Resistors and capacitor for multiplexing circuit As you see, it is a very complete kit. All you need to add is solder, a soldering iron, and a few (3 to 4) hours of your time. I was very careful and was rewarded by having my Mac test out OK on the first power-up. The minature PC board mentioned above allows for a very clean upgrade on an "Old" Mac. It solders into the 7 holes right next to the 68000, and there are none of the unsightly jumper wires like those used in the upgrade shown in Dr. Dobbs Journal. A 512k Mac with a RamDisk turns out to be THE fix for MacTerminal's whiring disk annoyance (among other things).
