DO NOT POST TEST ARTICLES TO THESE GROUPS!! If you absolutely MUST post a test article to the entire net -- all 1100+ sites on 4 continents -- then post it to "net.test". If you are simply trying to test out your news software, use a local group. If you're trying to test our world-wide phone connections and charges, or if you're just trying to test our patience, consider yourself successful. One other word of advice -- if you have been posting "test" articles to these groups, or if you think the posting of such articles is proper, then you probably haven't read any of the introductory articles explaining proper and polite use of the net (and you shouldn't be posting yet). See the regular postings in net.announce.newusers, please. -- Gene "6 months and counting" Spafford The Clouds Project, School of ICS, Georgia Tech, Atlanta GA 30332 CSNet: Spaf @ GATech ARPA: Spaf%GATech.CSNet @ CSNet-Relay.ARPA uucp: ...!{akgua,allegra,hplabs,ihnp4,linus,seismo,ulysses}!gatech!spaf
