They sad that there was a thirty day trial period, where I could return the equipment if I so desired. I experienced an error rate of approxi- mately 1%, and returned the equipment. This is after I mentioned that I had heard that there were problems with the modems, and they assured me that it was fixed in this model. After I insisted, they said that they would refund the purchase price but it would take two weeks (this was still in December). Last Thursday, They said that I would have the check by Friday. Now they are saying this Friday. The sales people are helpful, but seem powerless to assist. If I ever deal with Gandalf Data Limited again, I will not make payment on the equipment, until I am sure that it works. I recommend this course of action to others as well. Note, these opinions are my own, based on my person experiences with Gan- dalf. -- Jason P. Venner @ U of Toronto Zoology {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax,watmath}!utzoo!torcsl
