Perhaps the must unusual event like this that happened to me was when I
was watching Dr. Who "Arc of Infinity."  The story had parts set in
Amsterdam, which I had just visited for a week a week previous.  The
path they followed at one point looked quite similar to the path from the
place I stayed to the main train station.

(Actually, I recognized Gallifrey.  I live there, you see.  I am only a
visitor here...)
