I seem to have missed the article to which this was a reply. At any rate, I recall Albinoni's Adagio in G minor being used in the movie Galipoli, which is a Peter Weir film about an Australian athlete (Mel Gibson, methinks) who gets caught up in war and ends up at the battle of Galipoli. The movie was like the music- very good but paced rather slow, not a usual characteristic (being slow, that is) of Peter Weir films. Sorry if this repeats information in the original article.
