It has a cartridge port, MIDI IN, MIDI OUT, two joystick ports around a Z80 based computer (built according to the MSX standard). They have a complete set of software cartridges for the thing. One of which is the music composer cartridge which supposedly lets you write out music on a regular staff, with crescendo descrescendo, and other intonations, FULL MIDI VOICE CONTROL, will play it for you on your keyboard via MIDI, and store the sequence on a RAM-DISK cartridge. All of this for $480.00 (computer) plus $50.00 for each of their software cartridges. I thought it was quite interesting, and looks like one of the least expensive "music composer" systems I've seen. -- R. Switzer @ AT&T Bell Labs Rm. 3L-434 / Crawford Corner Rd.
