Curtis Blow is one of the early New York rap/funk artists, predating
Grandmaster Flash and all. A friend of mine, Jeff Gordon of Green Street
Studio in SoHo (New York) recorded most of his albums, and
understandably waxes enthusiastic about his talent. The little exposure
I have had ( including a taping session ) would indicate that he is
interesting if you like angry, political rapping.
