have you listened to Kitaro's _Silk Road_?  It's good music for listening
to before going to sleep or while trying to sleep, at least for me.
Of course, I also like to listen to Mozart's Requiem before sleeping..

Britten's _War Requiem_ is what really gives me the willies before
sleeping.
