I've been known to drive four hours to get to a particular concert. Recordings are wonderful; CDs are about the most wonderful. But hearing and seeing living, breathing, moving musicians play music that lives is what it's all about. Now if I could just get rid of cellophane-wrapped things that others in the audience suck on...
