Sometimes when I startup readnews it will present to me an article I read 2 months ago. I looked in my .newsrc file and find the following (only as an example): net.news.b: 1-99,101-456 I definitely know that I have read ALL articles from 1-456. Any suggestions? It could be tied in with a similar problem when you type 'N net.news.b' to advance to another specified newsgroup. Readnews will often present to me the lowest numbered article in the newsgroup. I apologise if this is a bug that has previously been dicussed and solved. If there are fixes for this already, please mail them. Thanks. -- Chris Grevstad {ihnp4,noao,mcnc,utah-cs}!arizona!byucsa!chris If things don't change they will probably remain the same.
