My site started getting the news several weeks ago and I've seen references
to news utilities like "misc/trimlib" and "shar" among others.  When I was
given the B news source, all I got was the 9 part "essential core" of news
programs - no bells or whistles.

I would greatly appreciate a pointer to any news utilities, documentation,
or anything that would make participating in the news more rewarding (its
fairly rewarding now :-) ).

Rather than plague the newsgroup with a deluge of follow-ups, please send
replies to me and I'll post a follow-up in a week or so.
