	The name bnr-vpa stands for Bell Northern Research - Voice
Processing Applications. We are a group in BNR that is involved in
digital signal processing of speech signals for telephony applications.
We have an HP-9000 computer which is largely used for DSP algorithm
simulations.
	We would be interested in hearing from others who have HP-9000
unix machines, particularly with regard to HP-specific bugs, sources
for graphics programs, and real-time I/O (wishful thinking?) problems
and solutions.

Currently, we call out only, every 2 hours to each of our neighbours,
but we might be willing to be called (preferably by other BNR sites)
for mail or news.  We do pass mail along.
We would be interested in establishing links with other BNR sites,
certainly for mail, and possibly also for news.
