For instance, a man leaving a party knows that he is too drunk to drive, but he chooses to drive anyway, concupiscent person that he is. Today, this word means downright HORNY. You see, a couple hundred years ago, what was the one thing people KNEW they should not do (it was a sin!) but did anyway, again and again and again? Well, that's how concupiscent came to mean what it does today. I still use the word for its original meaning, since I have no other word for it, and lots of other words for "horny".
