Usually, they are family-run and are small, though some have branched out to the likes of Ramada Inns and Rodeway Inns. These lodging-Indians predominately come from Gujarati-speaking communities like the Patels, Jains, and Ismailis [Aga Khanis]. Many are immigrants from [formerly British] East Africa. If anyone has had any positive or negative experiences with any of these Indian-run motels, you may want to let others know as they may want to especially seek or avoid lodging at these places as they journey across the United States.
