The purpose of he media is to deliever AUDIENCES to advertisers for money! So it would seem that much of the power of the use of the media lies with the audiences, however much or little they choose to use it. Sometimes they do, witness the move against violence in children's programming, etc. More often they don't and the sponsers/stations 'decide' for the audiences and try to judge if they were right by polls/ratings. Of course some people some times in control of the media use it for their own (political?) ends. As much as the 'bottem line' allows. Do we see a more fair treatment of Reagan lately, or are my eyes/ears deceiving me?? Regards, Ken Arndt
